Margie Harris, Director, Energy Trust of Oregon
Genesis, structure and success of the Energy Trust: Considerations for Michigan

Prior to joining Energy Trust in 2001, Margie Harris was a management consultant with Arthur Young & Company, finance and administration director for Portland Parks and Recreation and executive director of marketing and customer service at TriMet, Portland's regional transportation district. She helped craft the State's first energy conservation legislation and programs while working at the Oregon Department of Energy early in her career. Her insights will be particularly useful in light of Michigan’s changing energy policy environment.
